This commitment extends to ensuring the company’s operations do not place the local community at risk of injury, illness, property damage and to ensuring its works are conducted in an environmentally sustainable and responsible manner In order to fulfil this commitment WELLS TRADING COMPANY LIMITED Management will be responsible to: To implement an effective HSE Management System based on the best HSE management practices and make every practical effort to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the applicable local and international HSE regulations, codes and standards of Customer HSE specifications Establish safe and healthy systems of work procedures and work instructions designed to counteract, manager and minimize the identification risk arising from the hazards within the business service areas Be proactive in assessing health, safety and environmental hazards for new business, new and existing work systems, practices and equipment Instill and develop a positive safety culture across the organization, b delegating HSE responsibility, consulting and training staff about arrangements for implementing, promoting and developing health and safety at work and encourage employee participation and accountability at all levels within the organization Encourage team problem solving at all levels of the organization to implement work practices that continually improve safety, environmental standards and productivity Provide effective training and development to employees and managers, to ensure understanding of good HSE practices, company procedures and regulatory requirements, to increase competence and improve evaluation of suitable and sufficient risk assessment of hazards associated with the nature of work Strive for continual improvement in its HSE performance through regular monitoring, measurement and review of targets, objectives, programs, procedures and processes Report and investigate incidents and implements systems and practices that prevent recurrence Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and current industry standards Provide information to all employees, contractors and customers that inform them of health safety and environment issues relevant to the company’s operations
